Deutsche Bausparkasse Badenia AG, which has its head office in Karlsruhe is among the top private-sector building societies in Germany. Within the Generali Deutschland Group, it is the specialist for residential property as a means of providing for old age.
Badenia offers building-society products in line with market requirements, favourably priced advance and bridging finance, as well as attractive terms and conditions for financial investments. Residential property loans and products for a home ownership pension complete the portfolio offering their customers one-stop construction financing. Its Via Badenia 06 tariff distinguishes itself by favourable loan conditions with nominal interest rates starting from 1.90 percent p.a. (effective interest rate starting from loan allocation of 2.44 percent as defined by the Price Indication Regulation PAngV) and by short periods required for loan allocations, which may start after only 12 months. The Badenia services are therefore equally suited to finance the construction, purchase or modernisation of residential property, as well as debt conversion.
Badenia operates nation-wide and cooperates with a number of important distribution partners, such as Deutsche Vermögensberatung (DVAG) and the Group companies of the Generali Deutschland Group. The company looks after about 1.2 million customers.
Badenia has been assigned a very good ‘A' rating (with a negative outlook) by both the rating agency Standard & Poor's in November 2009 and by GBB-Rating Gesellschaft für Bonitätsbeurteilung in June 2009. The ratings analysed the current economic and financial situation and also included an assessment of the future development.
