
For many years, the Generali Deutschland Group has been dedicating much attention to issues of sustainability. We have set ourselves the target to operate on an ecologically sustainable basis and to persistently extend and enhance our commitment to sustainability, be it in the social field or through an eco-friendly product range.
Besides the principles of the Ethical Code, the Generali Deutschland Group has adopted the Environmental Policy of the international Generali Group , as an explicit statement of its commitment. Beyond this we have defined our own binding targets for the Generali Deutschland Group :

| Training: | Launch of training systems to enhance employee awareness for efficiency of resources and energy |
| Products: | Identification of sustainable products and product aspects |
| Investments: | Definition of criteria to determine sustainable investments and use of investment products (e.g. carbon certificates, forest investments etc.) in order to support the reduction of carbon emissions |
